Humber Surfaces Inc., the company that runs Heated Driveway GTA, explains here how it handles personal information. It does so under PIPEDA (short for Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act), Canada's privacy law for businesses.

What We Collect
- The quote form gives us your name, phone number, town, driveway size and system preference, plus any note, and your email if you give one. Also included: the time, the page used, your IP address plus the browser type, and the consent sentence beside the button.
- From calls to 1-833-859-5769: the calling number, the time and length of the call and, where the call is recorded, the recording. A notice at the start of the call says when it may be recorded.
- Only your browser holds this: the last driveway size you typed into the price tool, kept in local storage so it is still there when you come back. That information stays on your device at all times.
No cookies are set by the site, and scripts from other companies for advertising or analytics are never loaded.
Why We Collect It and Who Gets It
We share your request with the heated driveway installer we work with, and they can then call, visit and quote you: your details are used for no other purpose. Your request then goes to that installer, who uses it for the same reason. We do not sell personal information, and it is not used by us to send marketing.
Amazon Web Services hosts our site and stores our data. Storage or processing may happen outside Ontario; the United States is one such place, and the law of that country applies there.
Consent
Sending the form is your consent for the installer to reach you by phone, text or email about the quote visit. Any time, you can withdraw that consent: write to mail@heateddrivewaygta.ca or tell the installer, and we will stop passing along anything new from you.
Retention
After your last contact, we keep requests and call records for up to 24 months. Then they are deleted, unless the law requires a longer period.
Rights You Have
You can ask to see what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email us at mail@heateddrivewaygta.ca and we will reply within 30 days. Not satisfied with our reply? You can complain to the federal regulator (Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada).
Security
Access to stored requests is limited to the people who need them for arranging the visit, and the connection they travel over is encrypted.
